david_useDavid Lary completed his education in the United Kingdom. He received a First Class Double Honors B.Sc. in Physics and Chemistry from King’s College London (1987) with the Sambrooke Exhibition Prize in Natural Science, and a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Chemistry from the University of Cambridge, Churchill College (1991). David was a Royal Society University Research Fellow from 1996-2001 at Cambridge. From 1998-2000 David held a joint position at Cambridge and the University of Tel-Aviv as a senior lecturer and Alon fellow. In 2000 the chief scientific adviser to the British Prime Minister and Head of the British Office of Science and Technology, Professor Sir David King, recommended David to be appointed to the Cambridge Faculty in Chemical Informatics. In 2001 David was invited to become the first distinguished Goddard fellow in earth science at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, where he stayed till 2010. In 2010 he joined the University of Texas at Dallas as a professor in the Hanson Center for Space Sciences. David has received 3 prestigious fellowships, 6 editorial commendations, 6 NASA awards, and has over a 100 publications with over 2,000 citations in the peer-reviewed literature.

Over the last 15 years he has used his unique set of talents in the development or co-development of several media and technology businesses, each of which has specialized in motivating customer decisions and measuring consumer behavior and performance. Mr. Eggleston has founded or co-founded several technology, technology-enabled or new media ventures. He is the inventor and patent author in the areas of promotion automation over networks, interactive promotion branding, and point of sale fulfillment.
In addition, Mr. Eggleston sits on the advisory boards of the UMBC’s Alex Brown Center for Entrepreneurship, Sub-Basement Art Studios and Communiversal, Inc. and has been a contributor to both academic and commercial journals and publications. Mr. Eggleston has a bachelor’s degree from Harvard College and an MBA Degree with Distinction from Harvard Business School with an emphasis on Finance and Operations.
